Which other NHS Trusts do you service?• We are currently servicing NHS workers at: • The Lister (Stevenage) – North and East Herts Trust • Royal Berkshire Hospital (Reading) – Royal Berkshire Trust • with other projects going live over the next few weeks

How would you describe your service?We provide NHS workers the ability to order and pay for a pre-packaged food box online, for onsite collection the following day. The service is provided at zero cost by our volunteers and supplier community

What would we need to do to set this program up?Our project managers work with you to create the physical infrastructure, set up the volunteer team and coordinate the program with you. How much does this cost the Trust?There are no direct costs associated with setting up and running the service up as our suppliers and volunteers are providing their services for free.

What’s in the grocery box?Currently, we are supplying a £30 box, which typically includes 20 items including: • Fresh fruit and veg • Meat • Dairy • Juice • Bakery items • Cereal Pasta and sauce • *some treats!!!*

Who can order food boxes?We are currently operating out of The Lister, Herts and Royal Berkshire Hospitals. As staff members at either of those hospitals, you can register here on the app and order a box for convenient collection on-site when you’re finished work. If you work at any other hospital or NHS facility, we encourage you to share this information with your Chief Executive to help us broaden our network

How do I pay for my box?Please pay by credit or debit card as part of the ordering process. Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure.

What do I do if a product is spoiled?Bring it back to the Pop-up and we’ll replace it

Can I substitute any of the products?At this time we’re providing a standard set of products. This may change in the future so keep checking in with us!

How long does it take to get an online ordering account?Your account is set up immediately you register

Can I order a delivery to another hospital?Unfortunately not at this time, your order will be delivered to the hospital where you registered your account

How are you ensuring you socially distance?We take social distancing very seriously in 3 broad ways. Firstly, our customers line up in a queue seperated at 2m intervals. Next we only invite our customers into our collection areas when there is sufficient space to socially distance. Lastly, our volunteers follow strict distancing guidelines whilst preparing your boxes and serving you at pick up time

Does it cost me anything to order?Our service is provided at no cost. We only charge for the products in your box.

How do I become a supplier?You can register your interest here and one of our team will call you to discuss your services

How much time do I need to commit to your project?We ask our volunteers to gift a minimum of 10 hours a week as we work through this pandemic. We provide an easy to use mobile App where you can choose the slots (typically 2 hours) you want to help us

What would my commitment to your project be?Due to the severity of the current situation our suppliers are providing as much or as little of their services as possible at no cost until this crisis abates. We appreciate the commitment our suppliers are making and this may move to a more commercial arrangement over time

How long do we need to provide our services for?We are asking our suppliers to commit to as long as they can. You’ll be working with a local project manager who will be able to advise more accurately

Will we be paid for our services?Due to the severity of the current situation our suppliers are providing as much or as little of their services as possible at no cost until this crisis abates. We appreciate the commitment our suppliers are making and this may move to a more commercial arrangement over time

Can we remove our assets at any time?We appreciate the load this program puts on our suppliers and request a minimum commitment of time so that we can ensure continuity of service to our NHS Heroes

How do I register to be a volunteer?Thank you for thinking about gifting us your time. If you click on this link you will send us your details to get the ball rolling.

Can I bring my friends?Everyone’s welcome! They will need to register here and you can pick slots where you will be together (obviously at a safe distance)

Am I able to choose when I volunteer?Absolutely! We ask our volunteers to gift a minimum of 10 hours a week as we work through this pandemic. We provide an easy to use mobile App where you can choose the slots (typically 2 hours) you want to help us

Who do I tell if I have an issue with one of the other volunteers?Our onsite team leader is the first port of call to discuss any issues. If there is still an issue then connect to one of our support team on web chat and one of our senior staff members will call you

What tasks does a volunteer undertake?We are like any other shop so our volunteers take deliveries from our suppliers, make sure the produce is stored correctly, build the food boxes for our NHS Heroes and then help those Heroes to collect their orders during the time slot they request.

Do I have to handle money?No. All orders are completed online and paid for with a credit or debit card

How fit do I need to be?We ask our volunteers to do as much as they can without risking their own health and safety. If you have reasonable mobility and are in reasonable health you will be a great addition to our team
